    Great location

Myself and partner stayed here for 5 nights over NYE and it was perfect for what we needed. Room was small but clean with a comfy bed. Bathroom was also small but very clean and well maintained. Staff are very friendly but speak minimal English (however we found most of Taipei was like this so we never expected them to speak translate is your best friend!) Had one light bulb out in the room and they replaced it the next time the room was serviced. Great location, about 4km from Taipei 101 and everything you need nearby, including a 24 hour supermarket, coffee shops and shopping centres. Would recommend for those on a mid range budget.

Hotel full of Mosquito and Room were poor

I have stayed for 4days in total. It is the worse hotel experience I ever have! Cons Mosquito were flying around in the room I have stayed in. Somehow I have managed to kill 6 of them. Room condition were not very good. The hotel used the stairs for storing their stuff which I believe they have violated the fire safety in Taiwan. I strong suggest the hotel owner look into this. Pros Location were great! Only 5mins to the MRT and it covered East district of Taipei. A lot of shopping could be done!

Not our first or even fourth choice, but immaculately clean and well located

It's not a boutique hotel by quite some way but it's perfectly adequate if you just need somewhere to kip for a couple of nights. The whole place was extremely clean and comfortable. I think it's a bit hit and miss as to whether you'll find someone who can speak English at reception, but the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It's about a 5 minute walk from Zhongxiao Fuxing (on the blue line and a few stops along from the main station) and it's very easy to get around town from there. I was told on booking that breakfast wasn't included but it actually was. It's in a very local restaurant around the corner from the hotel. Options included fried radish cake and a steamed meat bao or a fried Chinese pancake with egg and spring onions and a plain steamed bao, all with hot soy or peanut milk.

Does the job for less than a lot of others.

I was surprised no English was spoken on reception when I arrived but between myself, local guests and some acting we got checked in. Room clean, cosy and compact. But this is a city break so one should be out and about anyway. Sunken spa bath was a snazzy but unused bit of luxury. Bed was comfy but not world class. Tv had CNN and some u.s channels. Only criticism really is that my roadside room was a tad noisy for a light sleeper. Location is great 300 metres from the mtr with quick connections anywhere. Great chicken chop house next door too.
