Nice comfortable hot springsLovely place to spend a few hours as a day visitor to that natural Hot Springs. It is very easy to do and some of the spa staff speak decent English in the lobby. The admission which is about $22 per person includes Locker Town shampoo showers slippers, and about nine different hot pools to use. They are all labeled by temperature. Some have Bubbles and some are just still water but all very relaxing in a beautiful atmosphere. You can get small snacks outside in between trying out the different pools. This is a place where bathing suits are worn, which is different from most of the other hot springs in the area. So if you are shy, this would be a good choice. The hotel also has a few restaurants that look very nice. The staff were friendly and quickly got us a taxi to go back to Taipei which takes about 30 or 40 minutes. Highly recommended to spend a few hours in a place like this.
Worth the price if you enjoyed outdoor hot spring spaWe have booked a 4 people room for our whole family with 2 teenage boys, which was Japanese tatami style, therefore there's no bed but laying mattresses (futon) on the floor, it might not sure some people, but my sons find it fun. Room size just about ok for 4 of us. The bed has not been made, but it has a note in the room saying they can send staff to make bed for you when you are ready. We preferred to make our own and to choose our own spot! The best thing about booking this hotel, as it has its own outdoor hot spring spa area (total of 9 pools + hot bed + children play pool. I think 6 hot and 3 cold pool.) You can soak as much and as long as you want when showing your room key (outdoor spring spa open 9am - 10pm) We had an enjoyable night soak in mid summer after early dinner in Beitou. It also has a gym and outdoor swimming pool (7am-10pm, adults only), but we didn't use it as I though it was in renovation during summer. Hotel breakfast was vast and lots of varieties. specially Taiwanese local specialities, make your own Japanese rice pot, cook station (noodle / fried egg), vegetarian section and a western section with salad, cereals & fresh fruits, etc. The hotel location is not the best if you wanted a city hotel as has some hike on a narrow and bended road up to the hill. I do not recommend to walk with luggages unless you know the way very well. We took hotel shuttle up to hotel but walk down to Beitou and Thermal Valley, which takes about 20 mins. Is good if you plan to stay specially to enjoy is hot spring / swimming pool / gym, as is like a resort. Is not so good if you just want a night of stay, not planning to enjoy any of it's facilities.

Book via KlookWe visited the hot springs as part of a day tour so can not comment on the hotel part. What I will comment on though is the gentleman that we spoke to who wanted to charge TWD800 per person when you can get it for nearly half the price via Klook. We walked away from the counter, booked it online, and then walked back with our tickets. Saved ourselves money! The facilities are amazing and I would recommend them to anyone. Both men and women can use the pools and costumes are compulsory. When checking in you get given a basket with a towel, dressing gown, shower cap (needs to be worn in the pools) and flip flops. You are also given a locker key. We tried all the pools and it was a lovely refreshing experience. We would definitely do it again.
Perfect soak!I came here with my 80yo mother and a friend. Checkin at the front desk was perfect and they scheduled our complimentary shuttle back to the mrt station( they also have pick up service from Xinbeitou and beitou mrt stations) we then followed their directions to the hot spring entry, where we were each provided with a basket containing locker lock, robe flip flops and cap. The locker room was small and a little crowded but clean with shampoo and shower gel provided. Pools were lovely with multiple options of water massage, waterfall, or just nice and hot with the milky slightly sulfur water from the Yangmingshan area spring. We loved the warmed stone to relax on and there is a pool to cool off in between soaks too. This pool is family friendly and swimsuit are worn. We got a great deal on Klook for a discount . We only had time to stay for 2 h but the entry allows you to stay all day if you like.
Hot springs and Japanese lunchWe booked a hot springs spa and Japanese lunch through KKday, which was excellent. We took a taxi from near Main Station in Taipei (NTD380 each way) as we had our elderly Mum with us. iIt was very convenient as the spa is not really walking distance from the local MRT. Upon arrival we went to the front desk where they scan your QR code. We arrived at 9.00am. Then we went to the outdoor spa desk where they give you a locker key, shower cap, and towel. After changing we went to the outdoor spa. There are numerous spa pools with different temperatures. None were crowded, maybe as we were there early. We took the package with the Japanese lunch. We got our hotel in Taipei to ring and book the time. You can also get a private spa room. The restaurant is part of the hotel, and is elegant and has excellent service. The set meal has numerous courses of various appertizers, sashimi, salad, miso, ice cream, green tea, and a choice of a meat dish. This spa visit was excellent value.
