Best hotel staff ever.Very nice hotel with the best staff I ever had in my life. Hotel was very pleasant, clean, nice room and good breakfast. And the staff was so kind and helpful. They were always thinking along and try to help as much as they could. "Thanks for making my stay so nice!" Matt, from Holland Taipei September 2019
All Pros, no ConsDespite some of the reviews, our room was very quiet. We stayed on the top (11th) floor (there is no 4th floor) facing the overpass, and the noise was minimal. The room was surprisingly large, larger than most of the other same class hotels we stayed in the last few years. It made longer stay much more pleasant. The breakfast was good, with at least six different types of fruits rotating during the morning. We stayed for about a week, and they actually had different hot food items every day. The only food item they did not change was scrambled egg. Western food selection was a little limited, restricted to scramble eggs, hams/sausages. There was also limited selection of pastries. Chinese food choices were closer to brunch than breakfast, with good selections of protein and vegetables. Breakfast was served till 1000, later than most. For outside dining, there are lots of food choices around the hotel, and the staff were very helpful in suggesting good places to visit. The staff were also very helpful with sightseeing information. We were planning to take a day trip to Jiufen and the staff printed out, with pictures, food stores to visit. We noted some smell in the room when we first checked-in and they offered us alternate room, but we stayed, and they provided air cleaner for our use. Only snack provided in the room was pops and two types of chips. There was fresh bottled water daily and staff often gave out more water in the lobby when you are going out. There was also light snacks/tea/coffee available in the lobby area. There is free laundry and the area is locked after 10 pm to avoid noise. The walk to metro station was a little further than other hotels (10 minutes), but it was pleasant and at no time, even at night, did we feel unsafe. This is one of the few hotels we will consider returning to on our next visit to Taipei.
Nice Corner Room and Great Service! After reviewing many hotels, we chose to stay at Ambience Hotel due to the excellent service and room reviews. The corner room is large in size and well appointed. The breakfast buffet has a variety of food - steam fish, braised pork, scramble eggs, bacon, sausage, soup, congee, local fruit (including dragon fruit and papaya), bread, cereal, and other items - they are delicious and exceeded our expectations. The hotel staff - Mei, Howard, Steve, Emily, Evelyn and Yolande - are top notch and are always helpful and friendly. We would not hesitate to stay in this hotel next time we visit and we highly recommend this hotel!
Lovely hotel & staffWe booked this hotel on the basis of good reviews, and were not disappointed. There is really nothing to fault about our stay - comfy beds, good size room, quiet, good breakfast with a mix of local and western items. Even a free laundry room! The staff are very helpful, with small gestures such as offering a bottle of water as you leave for a day out. There are restaurants nearby and it is about 10 minutes walk to MTR stations.
The best Hotel in Taipei~I stayed for one night at the Ambience Hotel to meet some friends in Taipei. The hotel staff were nice and took care of my luggage in good time. The love staff of Winni, Mei, Yolande, Jack, Steve, Mark and Cate at front desk spoke fluent English and took care of checking in. They provided me a recommendation of stir-fry restaurants, massage shops, and good bars nearby, as well as providing complimentary drink vouchers. They were really informative and I appreciate their help! As for the housekeepers, Coco did a good job on housekeeping and the room was always clean and comfortable. Tina brought bottles of water as needed. Luna greeted use the following morning and provided us with and extra bath towel and shower gel. Breakfast was also tasty with western style cuisines and salad. I enjoyed it very much. Jerry and Phoebe greeted us with providing a side dish Kimchi in rice porridge area. Thank you for all great services.
