    Good location downtown

Like the other travellers' review, the hotel is rather old fashion. The door key is still "key", but they have good elevators. My room and public area was clean and ac temp was comfortable. Breakfast was average. I think the advantage is the location where some good restaurants nearby. If you travel alone or do sight seeing downtown. You are not staying in hotel too long. This hotel is OK.

    Dated and old hotel

The decor of the rooms is rather old that is reminiscent of the 1960s. Some rooms even have the old bulky television sets! Besides that, the room is also not the cleanest - the bathroom does seem in need of better cleaning. However, the location of the hotel is rather convenient. There is a bus stop right in front that allows you to get to Ximending in around 15 minutes. There is also a MRT station less than 5 minutes away.

    Old and reliable

It's one of the old hotels in Taipei. The rooms and dining area are still in very good condition. They offer buffet breakfast with limited menu varieties. Location is convenient as there are shops, restaurants and supermarket nearby. Sometimes you can't avoid the old and rusty smell in some areas. Staff are nice and I don't have anything missing in my room during my 6 days stay. Carpets are old and it would help it the management will also replace them in the future.

One of the Oldest in Taipei

This hotel is one of the oldest Hotels in Taipei, It is not a deluxe hotel, but their room are clean and bright. It located closely to the center of business district but quiet. It is very good for the middle class tourists or business staff from many small or medium size business people. It has all the Wifi and business center too. For me, every time when I visit Taipei, I booked this hotel since 1970.
