Exceptional and personalised service from check in to departure

We recently stayed at the Dandy and were delighted with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff from the moment we checked in. Each day they were able to help us with any questions and recommend great local places to eat. The rooms are exceptionally clean, quiet and comfortable with everything you need for a stay in Taipei. The hotel breakfast had a range of options that was able to satisfy our two hungry and particular teenagers. The location of the hotel makes it the perfect place to stay for travelling by train or bus to the 'must see' sights of Taipei. There are many eateries providing a range of cuisines within easy walk of the hotel. However, what we would most recommend about the hotel is the staff who provide personalised and professional service that ensure that any visit to Taipei will include staying at the Dandy.

    Comfortable and clean hotel

After staying in so many hotels over the years, this is really the most comfortable hotel which I have ever stayed. Do not expect a luxurious interior but super clean and homely feel which makes you wants to lie down after a hard day out. It is not within walking distance to mrt but it is conveniently near family mart, starbucks, a few restaurants and bus stop. Highly recommend if you do not need a city hotel but a hotel that makes you feel at home.

    Supreme hospitality !

The Dandy was a great place to spend a quick weekend getaway while visiting Taipei. David from the front desk was especially helpful and courteous. We were greeted with a friendly smile and delicious pineapple cakes upon check-in...Every detail was taken care if for us. He made arrangements for airport transport, taxi service, reservations etc. they even heated up my daughters leftovers one night since there’s no microwave in the rooms. The lobby is very comfortable and each morning they offered wonderful coffee and breakfast which was included in your room cost. Great location to walk to shops, restaurants, subway system etc... we will be back and stay there again!

    Always friendly and helpful

We have been staying in Dandy Tianmu for 3 times. Love this hotel, nice clean and comfortable with the added benefit of in-house laundry facilities and close to local shops and restaurants. Also really nice helpful people, well done! Rooms are a good size and noise is very minimal. Good facilities with excellent showers that push out a lot of water. HBO available on television in the room with plenty to watch including a film channel. In the restaurant there are biscuits with a good coffee machine available free of charge. Breakfast is good with a selection of western and oriental foods.

Great stay in quiet, clean room, with wonderful employees at the reception desk and breakfast room

Great stay! I loved this hotel, especially its reception staff. All were so kind, sweet, helpful, and fluent in English - especially Miss Belle, Miss Alvina, Miss Rainnie, who carried luggage, arranged taxis - writing addresses in Mandarin to show drivers, and with taxi numbers to ensure taking the right taxi. Drivers were all polite and communicated well, though only one spoke English. They drove safely. Mr. David and Mr. Shane were also very helpful and welcoming in Reception too. In-room wi-fi Internet service worked great, and Starbucks with wi-fi was very nearby. TV had a number of channels, mostly Mandarin. Only American news offered was CNN. Very clean, with ultra-modern toilets/showers, hair dryer, plenty of towels (but no face cloths), soaps, razors, cotton swabs, and other supplies all free. Rooms had so many free ammenities, snacks, sodas, water, slippers, and cake on arrival. Quiet room, comfortable bed, a desk, and refrigerator. They have an elevator. The breakfast room offers a large hot/cold buffet selection, well prepared, with many healthy vegetables, fruits, nuts, hot foods, soup, cereals, and pastries. I could not believe it all came with the reasonable price of the room. Free coffee, tea, milk, water, and coffee wafers 24 hours-a-day. I felt safe there, even walking alone at night. Good, reasonably priced places to eat are close by - Wendel's for fine dining inside/casual outside in the beer garden, or more casual The Taco Bar, right next to a good Korean restaurant, and a block further a Wine Max (wine bar), an ice cream shop, all within two blocks from the hotel. Convenience store is right nearby on the corner, open late. I want to say big thank-yous to the sweet, helpful reception and breakfast staffs. Be sure you learn the Mandarin words for: hello, good-bye, please, thank-you, and be careful. Using those with a smile, you'll find everyone in the Taipei will go out of their way to help you. Dandy Hotel has reasonably priced airport shuttle service to the airport, about an hour away too, as well as train service. Thank you, very much to everyone at Hotel Dandy! (Shay shay ne!) I hope I spelled Mandarin for "thank you much" correctly. I will look forward to staying there with all of you again. Views of the mountains from the upper floors were so pretty. The staff felt like my friends, after just a five-night stay. I'll surely stay there again.
