    Quiet Luxury hotel, superb location

We stayed there for two nights, took a tour of Taiwan and returned for another 2 nights. Really nice room, the concierge was incredibly helpful in answering questions and helping us plan out a sightseeing day. On our tour, we left something in each of two hotels which the tour guide had sent to the Okura Prestige and they were there when we arrived back. We had also stored two bags there during the tour. The lobby is beautiful. The location is excellent for access to the metro and for restaurants in the city. For a fabulous breakfast ( we loved the waffles with mangos) try the Melange Café which is a couple of blocks from the hotel.

Nice hotel and emoyees, but anonymous

I am Italian, totally trustworthy and well travelled. The hotel is a nice one, employees always gentle and English speaking, it is clean and smooth sheets. So why 3 stars? The hotel, to be in Taipei, is expensive, so you expect smthg peculiar...instead you could be anywhere, so anonymous and mediocre... There iare no reasons about paying that money, doesn’t worth the price. Minor things that I disliked: just 1 soap and 1 conditioner for two people, and the bathrobe not clearly visible, so we used forr the hot and humid Taipwi, 3 showers per day) the same wet towel (only 1 each). Last, the room 719 was stinky, either with people smoking in, or the air conditioning not working properly, on humidity side. Diring the night some noise.

An amazing luxury hotel. Very elegant. 100% recommended

This is a luxury hotel, one of the best hotel in Taipei. The staff works professionally. They have a luxury car that can take you to the airport with reasonable price. They even helped me, and let me put some suitcases in the front seat, when we bring lots of luggage. love it. The room is very nice, it has moving partitions that allows you to set the room to your preferences. 100% recommended

    Quiet luxury hotel, superb location

Located just 2 minutes walk from Zongshan MRT station (gives you connection both to the Red line and the Green line), Okura Prestige is a quiet luxury hotel with nice relaxing atmosphere and comfortable rooms. The hotel offers everything you might need to recharge after a day of sightseeing ( or business). Breakfast is very good. Lots of trendy boutiques nearby. The only thing is quite expensive laundry.

    Japanese cuisine at yamazato

Visited their Japanese restaurant called yamazato, it’s recommended by friend. We booked twice as their staff said no record for our first reservation. Luckily we called and double check on the day we planned to go. Overall services are good. Foods are fair. But a bit overpriced when compared to other restaurants. Anyway it’s inside a hotel, still good to have a try.
