A ok hotelStayed here for three nights and would like to summarized my experience here: The good: - Location is not bad, only few minutes walk to Ximen station or taipei main station. - Staff were friendly and helpful. - There are a 24-hour self service snack bar on the reception floor, so you can always get something to eat. But Taipei is a heaven of good food, we were full all the time therefore never tried the snack bar. - there are also games available at reception floor for guests to play with. We had so much fun playing table football. - price was good. Now the not so good: - Hotel is in an office building with reception on basement floor and rooms are located from 7th floor up. With only one elevator serving all the hotel floors, sometimes it takes a long time for waiting. - Possibly because it was transformed from offices, not all rooms have windows. - We booked three rooms without windows, the size for all the three room were different - from a very tiny one which you could immediately reach the bed when open the door to an okay size room. I unfortunately stayed in the tiny room. - the renovation looks new from distance but if you take a closer look, you will agree with other comments that the rooms really do need a good clean. Although the main color of the bathroom is in black, mold was still easily be spotted. Hair could also be seen on the drain hole cover. All in all, with the prize we paid, I'm satisfied with what I got.
Needs a good cleanWe booked a 'superior' room that was very small with nowhere to hang or store clothes. Moved to a deluxe room the next day which was more comfortable, but still very little storage space. The carpet was dirty and needed a deep clean as did the curtains and other parts of the room. Although it was close to the main station, given how good the metro is, I would recommend a better, cheaper hotel, further from the centre. For a Westerner, not wanting to eat Chinese cuisine for breakfast, there was only toast and coffee on offer. Staff were pleasant ( as are Taiwanese people generally).

A well located hotelThe hotel is well located, just 10 minutes walk from Taipei Main Station or 3 minutes walk from NTU Hospital metro station. Thus it is convenience to go elsewhere in Taipei and also the international airport as the latter is now connect with an airport metro. As the hotel is located in the main area, it is easy to find foods, book stores and department stores. The staff service of the hotel is good. The room is clean and equipped with free wifi. However, as I stayed in the upper floor, the shower was running quite slow. The room has also a small fridge, a wall-mounted TV but no cloth closet. The hotel has two kinds of room - with window or without window. Unless you pay for the largest rooms facing the street, the room with window has no big difference to the without window as the window room is blocked by the wall of the building next to it and there is only a one foot gap. Anyhow, when compared with the price and location, this is a value-for-money property. I stayed in this hotel twice.

SMALL,CLEAN AND DECENTStayed here for 4 nights. The room size is what you will find in Singapore budget hotels. Slighty cramp ,there is no wardrobe to hang your clothes,so no need to look for it!😏 I know because I tried to pride open the wall which i thought was a cabinet. You hang your clothes on the wall and you put your luggage on the floor😒I know because I have to step over my bag every time I want to go to the bathroom.😞 The two pillows were of bad quality and the worst among the three hotels I stayed in Taiwan, must be the price.....They also curiously do not have a coat brush which I wanted to borrow...hmmmm... Not too much choice for Breakfast, which I expected. Nevertheless, this hotel wins over in location.7 minutes walk to the train station and one of the longest underground mall in Asia. Many restaurants and restaurants lined the street. The greatest for me was having Watsons around the corner....aahhhh..the great feeling of putting on your ritual facial mask after a haul there😄😄 I would recommend it for the location if you do not mind the small room..
