BL Bannan Line Taipei City Hall
Nice hotelWas in Taipei for a weekend trip. Humble house is really conveniently located next to several department stores. The area is quiet and upscale. Rooms were clean and well appointed. View out was an open city view (I was on the 11th floor) . Considering the price I can recommend this hotel highly. I had stayed in the W before and the rooms were smaller
The only complaint is that my stay was too short...Very friendly personnel; clean; great bed with excellent isolation (light & noise); very good breakfast. Coffee (not instant, real capsules system) and thee on the room; no time to enjoy fitness/swimming pool; nice views (among others on the Taipei 101 tower). Real Tata toilet with all options. Just a bit strange to have an elevator to the reception at the 6th level and from there another elevator to the room levels. Safe, OK, but is that an issue in Taiwan?

Humbly LuxuriousHumble House Hotel is a modern and luxurious hotel situated in the Xinyi District. Shopping hotspots such as Sogo, Breeze Songgao, ATT4FUN, Eslite Bookstore, etc. are all within walking distance. Staff at the front desk and concierge are all very humble, friendly, patient and helpful. The Grand Deluxe Twin Room at HK$ 2,080/night is spacious, luxurious and equipped with a Nespresso machine. The modern see-through bathroom design makes the room much brighter. However, there are not enough drawers for clothes.

Quiet and convenient locationThe check in reception is on level 6, if you are lucky you may get rooms that face the Taipei 101. Room is clean, and no noisy air con that disturbed your sleep. From Airport to Hotel is about 45min to 1 hour depending on traffic and cost about NT$1,500. Hotel is around major shopping malls, do explore the basement for some interesting shops. Walking distance to Taipei 101. A refreshing hotel from the usual Grand Hyatt, W hotel nearby. Definitely worth coming back to stay with My Humble House in my next trip

Location WinsStayed for business for a few days to test it out. Its location, near the Taipei 101 really make this hotel that is elegantly minimalist but highly functional, a must-consider for those coming in for short stays. You have all you need by way of food shopping and entertainment within a block radius and you're in a 5-star joint. I docked one star for the room sizes that are smaller compared to other commanding the price it does in the city, but then again I guess they don't have this one's location and that costs a lot. Also the breakfast selection is among the least appetizing in volume or quality that I've seen in 5 star hotels in Asia.
