Situated in the lively Ximending shopping and entertainment area and near Ximending MRT Station, this hotel offers a unique combination of cultural creativity and hospitable service.

The memory jigsaw puzzle decoration theme is definitely unique, as are our friendly and helpful staff, we dare say. With us, travelers find a temporary home in a foreign land and strange city. The design style is inspired by the traditional culture of nearby Ximending.

Equally traditional is the 24-hour supply of tea in the common room, where guests can relax on their own or strike up a conversation with our staff or fellow travelers as they like.

    An Instagram-worthy hotel

From the facade to its interior design and decorative accents, Cho Hotel has a lot of character and really exudes this welcoming atmosphere and hip vibe. Makes it a really Instagram-worthy place. The staff who checked us in spoke fluent English and would always greet us with a smile whenever we passed by the front desk to get in/out of the elevator. Very warm and friendly service. What we liked best about Cho Hotel was the lounge area at Level 2 where we spent a lot of time either catching a movie on the big-screen TV, working on our laptops or playing with the in-house furballs (two friendly & adorable doggies). On the other side of it was a well-stocked pantry with a variety of tidbits (biscuits, crackers, sweets etc), beverages (coffee/tea/soft drinks/water), microwavable popcorn and instant bowl noodles of assorted Taiwan-exclusive flavours. We could help ourselves to everything there on a complimentary basis. We booked a standard double room with no windows. Was really small and there was hardly any space for us to put out our luggage. But overall, the room and bathroom were clean and well-maintained. Good enough for the price we paid. There were free laundry facilities to make use of as well. Laundry powder provided. Location of the hotel was excellent. Plenty of eateries, convenience stores around. Wellcome supermarket (open 24 hours) is just a stone's throw away. Short walking distance to the bustling prime shopping area of Ximending where you can find street food, skincare/beauty shops, souvenirs, bubble tea and more. Would definitely stay here again if I come back to Taipei :)

    Charming and good neighborhood

Fun neighborhood and charming little place. Staff nice. Rooms a bit loud. Could use a dusting (lots of dust on the windowsill). But otherwise just adorable. The area of town is really a good place to see shops and restaurants.

    Cho Hotel - Stain bedsheet

I was ask to pay $1000 coz their staff claim I stain their bedsheet with blue color! They say maybe I dye my hair blue color! 🤷‍♀️ They show me an unclear photo of the bedsheet! I ask them to show me the bedsheet and they are not able to produce! I told them, they should let me know on that day, and not wait till I want to check out! As we do not want to quarrel with them, we pay them cash $1000! I was not even issue a receipt! It really make me feel like a 黑店 So to all the travellers, please remember to check your bedsheet everyday!

    Cosy Hotel

Situated near Ximending and Ximen station. It is quite a cosy place. Easy accessible either by taxi or on foot from the MRT station. The staff here is very friendly. They will explain their facilities to you in great details upon check-in. However, hotel room is quite small and there is very little room for walking if you have a family of 4 in the room.

    Highly Recommended

Stayed 5 nights during the CNY week. Location wise, it was wonderful, near Ximending and has a lot of convenience store nearby. The hotel itself was comfortable and every decoration is super pretty. Our room (superior double) was cosy, I love the balcony especially, table, chairs and some plants. The bathroom was bigger than expected. We mostly hang out at the 2nd floor where there's a game corner, snacks corner, drinks corner, tv corner and book corner. Totally didnt want to leave the place! We were also given some breakfast coupons to use at Cho cafe, love the food and decorations at the cafe as well. We managed to meet the dogs on the first day and the last day of our stay. They are super cute. All in all, glad we made the right decision to book this hotel :) Will recommend to others!
