    Be careful when you book.

This hotel uses a tourist trap to it's fullest. If you book more than 1 night, the hotel insists on you paying for your whole stay on your credit card BEFORE they will hand you the refunds or changes for any reason. So if you book for 4 days, you pay for 4 days up front, This is not only unacceptable but is deceptive in it's core and is fraudulent as they claim (when booking) to use your credit card as a deposit for first night only. They lied. They should tell you this when you book but conveniently omit this. This policy applies ONLY to foreign tourists and not to Taiwanese, which makes it even worse. I didn't sleep for 30 hours, had a long flight and grudgingly paid. Bad move on my part. This hotel does not cater to tourists. Breakfast consists of purely chinese cuisine ( 2 choices only), no seconds. The hotel occupies the first floor in a rather dingy looking run-down building. The rooms either have no windows or have the curtains permanently drawn, they actually asked you not to open the curtains, if you do you stare at windows that haven't been washed for quite sometime. The hotel is surrounded by run-down buildings that haven't seen a coat of paint in decades. The rooms are ok but small. Location is not bad but a long way from the metro. There are far better choices than this hotel.

    Trip to Taipei

Very Good Location Perfect rooms Nice and Clean Lovely Staff Went with my parents from New Delhi India. Only have vegetarian food. So breakfast was a bit of problem. As the breakfast has only 2 options and only a certain potion is given. Wish they would have more options for vegetarian food. Free water, Tea, Coffee, Soda, Biscuits in the room. Reception staff Sunny very helpful. She translated places in Chinese for me so I show it to cab driver. Rooms look exactly like the photos. Hotel near parks and Shin Shin Department store so easy to locate. Also has 7/11 and Jason’s Market Place for grocery. Comebuy and Ten Ren for bubble tea is just down the street. Comebuy open till midnight. Do try Papaya Milk when in Taiwan

    Great hotel

I really enjoyed my stay here, but there were a few things that could be improved. Every day at breakfast you could cjoose between 2 menus, usually one was with meat and the other with fish, so not many options for a vegetarian. Sadly all tv or airco instructions were in chinese so I could not understand them. But what was great is that the bed, shower en bath were very comfortable. The staff was also very kind. Lastly, I wish it was closer to a metro station, its about a 15 minute walk.

More like a motel in a rundown building with the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE STAFFS

For a start, I shall start off with something nice. Room was relatively clean, it does have a nice bath tub. Location was not bad, yes you can walk to metro but to be honest, it is not near. Many food choices around the area and right in front of the building is a shopping centre with cinema and uniqlo. Now the nightmare begins... When we first alighted there I got a shock of my life. The building is so rundown and tattered. Lift is full of cigarette smell. Breakfast was okay. The WORST thing is their service attitude. Front counter receptionist attitude. I don't see smiles on their faces and it's like we owe them a living. And this particular service guy who is on shift during one of the breakfast hours gave me bad attitude from the moment I stepped into the cafe. Then I asked if i can get a bowl of porridge, he outright gave me a no answer and said no more porridge without even checking the pot. Porridge is on the menu btw. I was baffled. Then I saw another lady and asked her. She gladly say yes, and went to bring me a bowl. I was FUMING. What darn attitude did I just receive from this guy early in the morning during my vacation?!? I was talking about it to my family and you know what, HE WALKED TO MY TABLE AND CONFRONTED ME. I told him straight in his face about his attitude and seriously, who the hell he think he is to confront me. He just said if I'm unhappy I can just complain him to the front counter and walked away. RUINED MY HOLIDAY AND EXPERIENCE WITH THIS HOTEL TOTALLY. I WILL NEVER EVER COME BACK TO THIS HOTEL AGAIN. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. WORST HOTEL I EVER STAYED WITH THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.
