For the Zoolloween’s 11th year running, the Strange Zoo – Zoo Outdoor Conservation Exhibition has been designed, featuring 10 conservation themes including Mischievous Pangolin, Gutter Witch Soup, Animals’ Requiem, Are You Afraid or Unfamiliar with Them, Going Home – Have You Forgotten or Are You Simply Unwilling to Slow Down. The exhibit design allows the public to recognize the survival crises faced by wild animals by exploring issues such as endangered species, environmental pollution, forest fires, and habitat fragmentation. Together with the Halloween ambiance, tourists will be able to appreciate the grave peril faced by wildlife and the catastrophic damages caused by nature’s retaliation. As a result, the public can understand the importance of wildlife conservation, and how it is closely related to the welfare of mankind!
The most anticipated piece de resistance of Halloween on October 26 is the 2019 Zoolloween Strange Carnival. Are the parents eager to sign their children up for the Halloween fashion show? Not so fast, what is so special about this year is that as long as you and your babies have put on elaborately designed costumes, you will have a chance of being spotted by a scout and invited to get on the catwalk. This year’s theme is inspired by animal conservation and Halloween, so everyone is invited to join the fiesta carnival with numerous conservation-related NGOs and enterprises. As long as you complete the challenge game on the same day, you will be entitled to participate in the lottery.
Apart from exciting stage performances and trick-or-treating activity, you can also go on a date with the Strange Train Conductor at night. If you wish to unveil the secrets of the 3 train conductors, they will make an appearance every half-hour starting at 18:00.
The zoo welcomes everyone including adults and children to come to experience the carnival! For more information, please refer to Taipei Zoo’s official website and Facebook fan page.
