Boss timeWe spent an entire day here with a 3yr old and an 8 year old. Initially the youngest was too shy to go without a parent, but once she found one activity, she was away. There are many jobs to try and all ages can take part at various levels. Language was not a barrier as the staff were adept at signing instructions. Activities were generally about 30 mins. The place was cool enough too. Food was not great but was also not expensive. My children loved it and would go again. The place is attached to several other entertainment areas for children, including a soft play area and a sand pit. I would recommend this to anyone with young children
A heaven for young kidsThis is a perfect place for young children age from 2-7. We planned on spending a few hours here but ended up spending the entire day here. There was a time table for different activities and most activities can only accommodate up to 10 kids. Kids get to experience working on different jobs like firefighters, police officers, artists, actors, gold mining... I wish the U.S. had something like this. 100 thumbs up!
Everything full. Not fun.If you are accustomed to rude kids and parents elbowing you out of the way, can endure the stress of mad-dashing from one facility to another, can take curt instructions provided by impatient employees, are happy with tiny portions of cold food, then Baby Boss is the place to take your kids. To be fair, the place is large with many facilities (job simulations) available. And we did meet several instructors who were nice and cheered. However, if you are a foreigner like me who needs time to look around and understand their system, your kid will be stranded to no activity to attend since every single one was full. And they only hold the activities like 3 or 4 times the whole time we are there I have observed parents/teachers who had obviously planned their route and they mad dash between activities. Twice my son was at the queue, blocked by other parents, was the 11th kid when their kids arrived (limit was 10) and refused entry. The only popular activity my son was able to attend was firefighter. Which we sat at the door for 20 minutes. From 1:30, we went from job to job. All were full. It was a weekday during Taiwan's winter holidays and it wasn't super crowded. We were required to leave the premise at 3 pm. I begged a nice girl at our fifth full facility to let my son in. Of course she said no. This particular girl was nice enough to locate another staff who helped us to find other facilities. All others just said full and shooed us away. The only activities left were "drawing a picture" or "watching a video". In a nutshell, my son had 2 hours of fun. All other time for queuing and avoiding elbowing. 20% off for tourists.
Cool for kidsI write this on behalf of my daughter, who spent a full day at BabyBoss with her grandma, while the rest of the family went to the hot springs in Beitou or sightseeing. She thoroughly enjoyed her experience. At BabyBoss, you can simulate practicing about 40-45 jobs, from pilot to cook........ My daughter "tried out" 8 or 9 'professions' and brought back a 'certificate' from each experience..... The only thing she was critical about was the fast food served inside the compound, which apparently is at McDonalds level.....
