Taipei ZooTaipei Zoo, covering 182 hectares, is one of ten largest city zoos in the world. There are eight outdoor display areas, six indoor exhibition halls, and five environmental education centers in the park. As the best site to visit and recognize animals, Taipei Zoo not only has the most popular panda, cute penguin and koala, but also has rare Taiwan-limited species, such as precious Formosan Sika Deer, Formosan Black Bear, Formosan Rock Monkey, and Swinhoe's Pheasant (Lophura swinhoii).

Maokong GondolaSuggested Duration:1hr
Maokong GondolaMaokong Gondola is either the first visiting cable car in Taipei or the one with the longest span in Taiwan . Passengers not only can feast on the spectacular panorama view of Maokong through the latest crystal cabin entitled “Eyes of Maokong Gondola”, but also can experience the sensation of soaring through the sky to enjoy the pleasure of natural beauty outside the city jungle.

Camphor TrailSuggested Duration:1hr
Camphor Trail The entire path of Camphor trail is quite flat, along with tea plantations spreading all over the place. Besides revealing nostalgic images of rural living culture by setting up vintage constructions on the way, such as mud-brink houses, pigsties, oxcarts, and brick kilns, this attractive site also has other landscapes, like picturesque Ecological ponds and viewing pavilions. With thoughtful services and perfect leisure facilities being offered, tourists would be more relaxing and enjoying rambling over Maokong area.

San Xuan Temple stop, or take Gondola to
Maokong Station. Then take a 10-min walk.
Taipei Tea Promotion CenterSuggested Duration:1hr
Taipei Tea Promotion Center “ Taipei Tea Promotion Center for Tieguanyin and Baozhong " is the site combining agriculture, culture, life, and recreational functions. Showrooms, teaching areas, and tea tasting spots are set up for introducing the process of tea-making, pouring skills, and reserve methods for Muzha Tieguanyin and Nangan Baozhong . Located in back mountain, the outdoor soil and water conservation classrooms even allows you to visit natural tea plantation scenery so as to obtain a good understanding of soil and water conservation.

Kettle Hole TrailSuggested Duration:1hr
Kettle Hole TrailThe trail entrance is located beside the Tea Promotion Center parking lot. On the way this trail is incredibly rich in and surrounded by natural beauty, along with green sun shade and cool breeze. You can observe local wildlife and plant ecology over the entire terrain of the catchment area. While arriving at the end of the trail, you will be able to explore the origin of Maokong k ettle hole by glimpsing its unique geographical landscape.
