Comfortable stayNot so far from the MRT station, and relatively easy to find. The bunk space is surprisingly spacious, with a mirror and a small long table that is wide enough for laptop. It's almost like a little hotel room, and like a hotel room you need to have your room card inserted in the power slot in order to turn on the power in your bunk space. This is a bit annoying when you want to chill at the lounge space upstairs while charging your phone and laptop in your bunk space. Luckily just like hotel rooms, you can work around this by simply inserting a piece paper in that power slot. Overall this was a comfortable stay. The front desk was extremely helpful and accommodating. The lounge area was really nice, although it was usually empty while I was there (apparently they had a all you can drink Taiwan Beer event, but I missed it). There is a nice cheap coffee machine, and also a free green tea machine (which was really potent). The breakfast was really underwhelming, especially considering how nice everything else was. But that's okay given the relatively reasonable room charge.

Pick hereThis is a really nice place to stay. The rooms are styled nicely, with decent things and bathrooms are good with heated toilet seats (only issue is a 12am curfew on the showers which wasn't keen on). The people are super nice and really helpful. Only slightly negative comment is that they ordered a taxi for me to the airport in the early morning and I think it was just her mate who was making a bit of cash. As a solo female traveller in a taxi at 4am, I didn't feel too safe but had no problems. Location is alright and the upstairs chill out area has a nice vibe, met some cool people there. There are some regulars which is always a positive sign for a hostel.
Great placeThis is an extremely nice place. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The dorms are clean and nearly all of them have windows (except for one), which I always prefer, and the beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are spacious, shampoo, soap and hair blowers are provided, so is a laundry machine and dryer. Breakfast is fine as well - you get toast, peanut butter, chocolate spread, eggs and fruits, tea or coffee. Also the 7th floor is really comfortable to just hangout, watch TV or work. MRT is close (3 minutes walk) and bus station is right in front of the hostel. Supermarkets or food stalls are close too. I had a great time there.
The bestThis is surely one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in! The place is very conveniently located close to the bus stop and MRT. The staff are very friendly and speak good English too. The place is clean and perfect for meeting people and making new friends. Rooms are lovely and the common area with terrace is amazing. Free breakfast included :)
If you visit Taipei, yiu definitely have to stay at this amazing hostel!Taipei Discover Hostel is the best hostel you will find all over Taipei! We had a really great stay here, the staff is really friendly and explained everything well, the hostel is very clean and modern and the facilities are amazing. It is also very accessible for people with disabilities which for me makes it the perfect hostel you could find. Really wish we could stay longer if we had enough time! Views from the balcony are also fantastic! Highly recommended :)
