介紹

Located by the Taipei Confucius Temple in the Dalongdong Cultural Park, Vigor Kobo has long been dedicated to making fine traditional Chinese cakes with an innovative flair courtesy of the company's baking R&D team. Reflecting the bakery's location next to the literary Confucius Temple, Vigor Kobo sells a distinctive line of "ink stick cakes." Made with a dash of bamboo charcoal powder, they quickly became a hit after their debut in 2006.

Apart from the black pastry shell, the ink stick cakes retain all of the sweet flavor and texture of traditional pineapple cakes. The charcoal powder makes a healthy addition due to its fat-fighting qualities. The bakery has also reduced the sugar and fat content of the cakes to make these some of Taipei's healthiest, tastiest and most visually innovative cakes.

Unpleasant visit to Vigor Kobo Cheng De Lu Taipei outlet

    2018-06

On 27 June around 12:45 we were brought to this Vigor Kobo outlet in Cheng De Rd Taipei by our Tour Guide which strongly recommended this's the best biscuits shop that we should visit regardless I told him that I prefer to get Chia De & Li Ji discuits as they were ranked the best by tourists online. Upon step in, we tested small pieces of pineapples tarts & short briefing by the indoor female sales staff. Her tone was very unfriendly & impatience when she tries to promote the biscuits & when we asked more on expiry date, she sounded even worse. Just we are small group with only 2 of us and there're no other tourists in this shop. The atmosphere turned badly when I asked her how many boxes I still need to purchase in order to reach the minimum of NTD2K that they'll then pack for you into box. She was very impatience & talked rudely. Very ill-manner & bad attitude I ever come across in all my travel. I raised my voice & told her that she was rude & she even dare to argue back. What kind of customer service she has. Not to disappoint our Tour Guide, I paid NTD2.1K reluctantly for the goods that NOT to my desire & satisfactory. Ended up, I got to buy from airport Chia De & Li Ji pineapples tarts & Sun biscuits which were so much better than this Vigor Kobo. At least, the ingredient of pineapples & Sun biscuits has NOT been 'hardened' as compared to VK, which the expiry date still in Aug. What an unlucky & unpleasant encountered I've with them & spoil my mood for the whole day!!!

    Delicious biscuit

    2017-12

Reached there and very crowded... seems so popular among tourists. As part of tour group, we could go straight to 1st floor where we could try the biscuit and was explained clearly by the staff. Price is ranging from about NTW100-NTW400... variety of choices .. most of them are delicious and the most famous are the egg yolk and pineapple biscuit.... The packaging is also very cute and attractive too... it makes you want to buy more, not only for yourself but as gift... However, pls beware of the EXPIRY date when you collect the order at the counter... even they said their product has short expiry period... pls becareful of that.... I have gotten 2 products have less that a month expiry.. the rest are a month plus... so make sure you could finish them before expired OR deliver them as gift quick. If you bought to much for eating.. then it would be wasteful..... However, all products are in top quality and delicious 😋. .. One more thing.. they will package all your buying into a box for your flight check-in... it is very thoughful... Eehh.. just to share...there's a Pi Xiu displayed there... beautiful Pi Xiu 😂..

Very cute and cozy that my first feeling when come to this shop :) there are many cute animation characters formalized from the shape of pineapple. Very very cute. The shop is also a great site for both friends and families with their children to go on. I tried making the pineapple. So excited! The female guide is very nice. The quality of pineapple is best of the best :)

    Pleasantly Surprised

    2017-08

We were on a small group tour from Thailand and a "compulsory" visit to Vigor Kob was on our itinerary. I grudgingly accepted it as part of the commercialisation of budget packaged tours, because I really didn't have any interest in going. However, I was pleasantly surprised. While I do not eat many cakes, deserts or sweet things myself, this visit solved the problem of what to take back as small presents for my many Thai friends, all of whom expect (although they don't say it) a token gift after my overseas travels. I bought several boxes of Vigor Kobo's famous pineapple cake, some boxes of Codfish Pastry with Seaweed, and boxes of mixed millet mochi. They were all lightweight and easy to fit into my luggage, so the problem of what to buy my friends was solved in one fell swoop. Apart from its signature pinapple cake, Vigor Koba has peanut nougat, cranberry and peanut nougat, Macadamia nut caramels, taro nougat, crunchy peanut cookies, chestnut cake, mung bean cake, and a range of spicy scallop and abalone sauces. Inside the shop are high tables in which generous plates of the wares are displayed for you to sample, snagging a morsel with the plentiful supply of tooth picks. When we visited there were at least four other tour groups fighting to get to the front counter to be served, at least two of them also from Thailand. One woman bought several large boxes of the pineapple cake, declaring that she could sell it in Thailand at a great profit. Good luck to her.
