Lan's Taiwanese Sandwich Shop 藍家割包

Anchor point
No. 3, Alley 8, Lane 316, Sec. 3, Roosevelt Rd., Zhongzheng Dist., Taipei City Taiwan, R.O.C

Located in the Gongguan area, this shop is a popular spot for hungry students from nearby National Taiwan University. Taiwanese sandwiches are made from a sliced steamed bun filled with a mix of fat and lean soy stewed meat, cilantro, peanut powder, and pickled Chinese mustard or pickled cabbage. Lan's serves up an especially tasty version of this traditional snack. Make sure to also try the "Four Spirits" soup, made with a concoction of fortifying Chinese medicinal herbs.

Must add to the bucket list

If you’re looking to add to the bucket list of good eats definitely add this place. Pork buns are fresh, sweet, and savory. Soup broth also is excellent.

Perfect Snacking food right before dinner

The line was quite long. However, the service was pretty fast. We bao is superb. If possible, try to be there earlier. Will be back again if I am in town

    Must try food in Taipei

I came here twice for the corn soup. It’s the best food here as Taiwan food is too sweet and oiled and I hope the restaurant will reduce the plastic bag for the buns

    A must for streetfood lovers

Incredible Pork belly Guao bao ! The soups are also quite good but the Guao bao is the highlight. You must try it if you are a the streetfood lover, the place is small and a little bit hidden but the food is really worth it. It truly is a hidden gem.

    Very good steamed bun!

No wonder there are people liming up for this steamed bun. It is flavorful and cheap! Bought one and had it for lunch.
