great place in Taipei for a good night sleepWe stayed here for four nights and slept peacefully every night. When I booked our room before, I was not sure if I really want to stay in a room without window, but to avoid traffic noise from the street, that is the best option, I guess. Our room was super clean, there was free coffee, tea and drinking water. Staff was more than friendly. The breakfast buffet was good.
Another positive review of the stayJust adding to the existing list of positive reviews (from others). In particular, I would like to highlight the following: - Very clean - Quite affordable for the dates we stayed - Availability of a triple room - Free bottles of water - AC worked well - Breakfast is quite good and more than adequate for a simple and filling meal - Easy < 5 minute walk to MRT
Pyeongtaek, South Korea
Very comfortable stayI stayed here during my visit to Taipei, it was a very comfortable hotel. Conveniently located a short distance from the MRT. Right down the street is a night market, and local restaurants are in close proximity. The hotel itself was very clean, with free breakfast, and good amenities. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable stay while visiting Taipei.
Excellent location in Old TaipeiDadong district is probably the oldest district in Taipei and if you are there to visit the old places there Dong Wu Hotel can be the right hotel for you because it is firstly very clean, staff extremely helpful, location is great along a main road easy to get taxi and centrally located in the middle of interesting places to walk around.
Simply the best...safe, clean, affordable!Great location, attentive service, clean and comfortable. Although Dong Wu is a bit out of the way when it comes to transfer to/from airport(no direct link other than taxi), the airport transfer wasn't bad at all. We took the express bus which dropped us off 1/2 mi from the hotel. We walked the rest of the way, or you could take a taxi from the express bus stop closest to the hotel (< TWD 10) or a bus (~TWD 2). We chose Dong Wu for its location in the older part of Taipei: very charming. We walked to the pier and night markets. Very safe. Room was rather big and had a small area for sofa and coffee table. Breakfast was a mix of East and West, and more importantly had different varieties everyday (we stayed 3 nts). Hotel staff was polite and attentive.
