Nice service good executive floor but room was tight

The hotel front desk service and room service was nice. The amenities inside the room was also nice with great smell. We choose to stay at the executive floor, the lounge was nice which serve breakfast, light dinner and drink. Only disadvantage was the room size, a little tight. The breakfast has either Japanese style or western style. We choose western style which has plenty of food to eat. Parking comes with the room. Great stay overall.

    Good for business trip !

Reception: Efficiently handling my request to check in at 1pm as perhaps it has a strict house rule to check in at 2pm. Lobby: Impressive modern chinoiserie look with opulent color ornaments. Nice. Room: My first night room was rather old looking at older section. Second night I was moved to its newly renovated room, but rather small and plainly minimalist grey tone ambience. Room’s window view nothing special. Breakfast: Since it was a long queue in that morning, I decided not to try the breakfast. However, the food selection looks very tempting. Overall, it is a good hotel for business trip with many local restaurants nearby the hotel.

    A cozy experience

This hotel is said to be one of the most classy hotels in Taipei but it's well maintained and nicely renovated. They serve a nice breakfast where various dietary options are offered (not yet at the sumptuous level but sufficiently surprising!). Btw, this hotel also has a small swimming pool open in the summertime and a fitness room open all year round (with one staff member available for help/service)

    Good option in Taipe

The hotel is well situated in the city, nice rooms, a bit old-fashioned but confortable. Breackfast buffet is fine, I was missing more fruits on display. Staff was friendly. The kettle with supply of tea and coffee was most appreciated.

    Great location.

I want to start this review by saying that this is one of the more pleasant smelling hotels I've ever been to. I don't know what they scent they were using in the lobby and the other common areas, but I like it, it's refreshing. Anyway, enough about that. Pros: - Great location. A short distance from the train station, a bit of a walk to a popular food market (so you at least earn your meal), tons of other place nearby if you don't want to walk, convenience and liquor stores everywhere, some luxury stores (LV and Gucci, I think) nearby. - The bar played subdued music, which allowed people to have actual conversations. Drinks are a bit pricey, but it's a hotel bar, there's a certain demographic. The happy hour deal is worth it, though. - Breakfast buffet is good enough. The vegetable curry tucked away in a faraway corner is really good. - People are great. Check-in and check-out probably took all of 3 minutes, in total. They were quick to lend our group a wheelchair when we needed one (long story). Staff are attentive, warm, and helpful, which helps to ease a bit of language barrier. - Didn't get to use it, but the gym looked class and clean. Too bad the pool was closed for the season when I was here. - Well-stocked room. Coffee mix was good, bathroom was restocked everyday, newspapers at your door in the morning. Not really cons: - One of the lights shorted out. Went out for the day, it was replaced when I got back. - Could hear some drilling down the hallway. - Looks just the littlest bit outdated. I guess I just got used to staying in much more subtly designed places. - Wish the TV had more English-language options. - The mattress was just a little bit lumpy, but nothing too bothersome. That said, it was a comfortable few days. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
