To savor a cup of good tea, you have to come to the century-old tea house, Feng Pu Tea House. Feng Pu’s tea leaves, such as Tieguanyin and Dong Ding Oolong, are specially selected from various places, such as Alishan, Hsinchu and Taipei. The product is genuine, reasonably priced and excellent value for money; old friends or new acquaintances are all welcome.
Feng Pu Tea House was established in Xiamen. The founder’s family grew tea plants through the generations. At the age of 14, he left Anxi of Quanzhou to Xiamen to become an apprentice, and later set up “Feng Pu Tea House” by the wharf. In 1922, the founder came to Taiwan and set up base in Dadaocheng, where Feng Pu gradually flourished. From 1951 to 1953, it won Taiwan Province’s and Taipei County’s excellent tea leaves competition for 3 consecutive years. At that time, famous people like Yu Youren, Jiang Menglin and Wang Yun, all came to buy his tea.
Feng Pu Tea House was the first company in Taiwan to produce tea bags. The small little tea bags were exported overseas and have brought pride to the country. 100 years after setting up the business, the tea house has since become a robust business.

Famous local tea shopLocation is not easily reachable. need around 15min. walk from taipei station. I came here with my local friend. We bought some tea as a gift for my parents. I don't really know about tea so I can't say it's good or not. At least my local friend told me this shop is famous in taiwan. We taste some iced bubble tea there and, well, felt the same with other places. The store is small, sorry I didn't take any photo of it. 所謂開門七件事"柴、米、油、鹽、醬、醋、茶" 由此可見，茶是我們息息相關的。特別是在中國人的生活中，茶扮演著相當重要的角色。

Very reputable tea company in TaipeiSmall little tea shop with big hearts. This was the place that started my journey into the wonderful world of tea. I didn't know anything when I walked in and the folks in the store (who speak English) were kind enough to let me taste a few different types of teas to help me select what I wanted to buy. They also have good quality teaware at competitive prices (I bought a YiXing clay pot from here that has been awesome). My favorite tea from here is the Alishan Oolong Tea which is absolutely fantastic when you brew it Gongfu style. Other good teas that they have here: Dong Fan Mei Ren (Oriental Beauty), Dong Ding Oolong, Wenshan Baozhong tea. I have tried oolong tea from multiple companies and Feng Pu is still one of the best. I can't wait to stop by here again on my next visit to Taiwan and stock up on teas!
