    friendly staffs and pretty good facilities

    이 호텔은 수영장과 운동 시설이 아주 좋다고 생각합니다. 그리고 내 방에서는 깨끗한 상태가 유지되어 좋았고, 커다란 더블 침대를 가지고도 편안하게 잘 수 있었습니다. 우리는 이그제큐티브 라운지에서 친절한 직원들로부터 매우 좋은 서비스를 받을 수 있었습니다. 특히 Julia와 Vanessa 가 내가 체크아웃하는 것을 친절하게 도와준 것에 대해 감사를 표합니다. 송산공항 항공편으로 출장을 오면 최고의 선택지입니다.

    The first Marriott on this side of Taipei

    Taipei Marriott marked the turning point of my BonVoy. Out of the 20 stays I had with Marriott hotels, this is the second hotel that recognised my prearrival requests - high floor and humidifier. This year when SPG and Marriott merged there were indifference in Plat. recognition and I was told that they could not give me a room on the higher floor nor place the humidifier in the room prior. I started to gravitate towards Hyatt whenever it’s available and had already became their globalist (platinum). Marriott Taipei delivered what was expected, welcome gift, acknowledged pre-arrival requests, fruit plate and I was even upgraded to a suite. The suite was spacious and modern furnishings. However, they provide minimal amenities which made the room looking quite empty. They installed a refillable bodywash in the shower box, when compared it with the bottle size that was also provided. The refillable one has a thinner consistency and the two was different. The hairdryer (Panasonic EH ND11) was tiny and not so powerful, probably the worst one I had came across this year. I was surprised that with the rate fairly competitive to W and Le Meridien, Marriott was not as luxurious and the rooms weren’t as advance as a four years old hotel should be.

    Great Staff

    I just completed my second stay at the this property and was again impressed by the professionalism of the staff, and especially the executive lounge team. Manager Lucy and her excellent team, consisting of ladies Briseis, Julia, Emily, Vina, Grace, Tiffany, Vanessa, and Zora, I couldn't have been more impressed. Awesome service coupled with personal charm and wit. Additionally my room was very spacious and quite comfortable with a nice desk with lots of horizontal work space. And as an added bonus the hotel location is within walking distance to stores and malls and a large beautiful park.

    Hard to figure out where to start this review. Ultimately a great property top to bottom. Bianca was especially helpful at the reception. Always smiling and furnished an upgrade after my first few nights. Great gym and pool on the roof. Was with family, and the lounge was super sweet.... finding the right utensils/high-chair, straws, and so on. Lucy, Tiffany and Bionce are (I missed a few names) wonderful. I hope to see their smile soon. The Lounge food is excellent btw.

    My first stay at the Taipei Marriott and I wasn’t disappointed. Got a room facing the water with Taipei 101 in the background. The room I had on level 33 was a spacious one with big bathroom and separate toilet and shower facilities. There’s also a bathtub and single sink. Amenities included Thann toiletries placed on the sink table which are a nice touch although the dispenser in the shower was a single gel which was labeled for hair, face and body! Every day, the hotel provided 4 complimentary bottles of water which were very welcome. Breakfast in the mornings in Garden Kitchen yielded a wide range of breakfast items from western to Asian and local offerings. Service was slightly patchy the mornings I was there primarily because it was peak and the restaurant was full. For those who book without the breakfast, there’s a Starbucks just 3 mins walk away. Concierge was also really helpful the first night I arrived and wanted to eat Japanese. They furnished a map and gave me detailed directions. Went to Mitsui Cuisine - a 15-min pleasant walk away. Food was amazing and reasonable. There’s also a large Carrefour and a Jason’s supermarket within a 5-10mins walk away in malls that house department stores and small restaurants. Very convenient.
