Great LocationMy family decided to stay in this hotel as the hotel we stayed in previously was fully booked. We chose this as our next option due to it’s location to the train station as well as to the Zhongxiao Fuxing shopping area. It is a few stops further away from some other attractions in Taipei but the trains are efficient and easy to navigate. Do note that if you are intending to take very early morning trains from Taipei Main Station, the subway does not operate as early and you will need to take a taxi from the hotel to the train station. There are taxis waiting outside the hotel even in the wee hours of the morning so it is no problem and if there are no taxis, the staff can help you to call for one. They have a triple room which we stayed in and it was very comfortable and adequately appointed.
Good location and looks newBooked this hotel for our family trip in Taiwan. Location is excellent and room is big. It is near Sogo, 101 and the MRT is just at the doorstep, exit 6. Housekeeping needs some improvement. The toilet was not clean properly.
Decent 4-star hotel with high potentialI booked this hotel for a last minute family trip on the day of. This was the night of golden horse award, and the city was packed with visitors, leaving not many choices for accommodations. Usually my preference would be Eslite, Hyatt, Mandarin Oriental or the Grand Mayfull, but it was not possible this time, so Park Taipei came up with pretty good ratings. Small but friendly hotel Arrived in front of the hotel I realized it’s a small-scale hotel in the Daan district, small land small entrance but the staff are polite and all smiles. Location is excellent, it is in front of the subway station. I booked 2 rooms with view of 101, one deluxe, one executive. However the executive room had a very strong smell that bothered my family, to then realize it was newly renovated one month ago. First the staff tried to change our room to another executive room with less apparent smell. While it was less apparent, it was still detectable. Then he tried offering a few more rooms. In the end, we agreed to a downgrade to the deluxe room to avoid the smell. Annoyed but accepted the change, I felt being mistreated. Luckily Later the manager came to upgrade us to a suite, although not as new as the executive, but with separate living room offering more space and no strange smell. That was a nice save. This hotel had many fantastic review that’s why I had chosen it. To my disbelief I looked up the star rating of the hotel, to realize it’s a 4-star, not a 5-star that I am used to. Then I completely agree, being a 4-star it’s a great hotel offering good value for the money and great location. Did I mention the staff are all smiles? People also give this hotel the nice touch that they often get praised for. The 02’s room of each floor should be the suite, and I think are the best room in the hotel. Looking right out to Taipei 101, it’s phenomenal. I think this would be a great place to watch the new year eve fireworks. This hotel has the potential to be a star, if owner would invest in some serious tasteful upgrade and import international-standard.
Good locationIts located in a good location, close to 101, right nearby MRT station. Rooms comfortable a d clean, but i had an issue with shower water splashing all over. Rooms are also well equiped and silent. Team was very polite and gentle. Good value for money.
Great LocationWe spent three nights here whilst visting Taiwan. The location is superb as the Da'an MRT stop is right out the front which makes getting around Taipei very easy. Taxis are easy to hail right in front as well . The hotel is very modern and the rooms are very clean and comfortable .The staff are very friendly and helpful .Breakfast was not included but there were plenty of cafes (inc Starbucks) and small eating and takeaway places within a block of the entrance.
