Introduction

Hexing Mine is next to Taipei Cihui Temple near Jiupi Creek. In the premises, visitors can step into the “Time Tunnel” along the brick pavement with the image of the minecart track and appreciate the simulated minecart decoration and ceramic murals “Life of Coal”. At the end of the Time Tunnel is the “Spiral Staircase”. If you are lucky enough, you will see many bats hanging upside down on the top of the slag exit of the abandoned mine.

Visitors may spend a weekend or holiday at Hexing Mine and experience the charm of the old mine in the bustling Xinyi District.
