Loved this little park-
I was lucky enough go for a run here on sundays when all the locals come out and exercise. martial arts, tai chi, walk barefoot and balance on the smooth stone pathway (hurt my feet). Lots of water features and just a cool place to be on a sunday morning. -

Good morning walk
A great inner-city park. People of Taipei go here to do their daily exercises. Nice to walk around after a taiwanese breakfast. -

Good place to start a Taiwan visit
I wandered into the park as I noticed a spot of greenery at the end of the road while exiting my hotel near the Taipei Main Station. The fountains were dancing as I walked in and someone was playing a melancholy tune on a flute. It was a perfect setting for visiting such a sombre place. The history of Taiwan was etched out on the information boards. The place truly prepared me for visiting this beautiful country and its people. -

Beautiful place to visit in the morninng.
I was in Taiwan, wondering the the Super Typhoon predicted was coming and got a break in the rain to come visit the park in the morning. Took a few pictures while walking around. People were doing Tai Chi in the park in the morning. Really nice to have parks in the middle of the city. -

A small "piece" of history
Beautiful grounds surround the story of the 228 Incident where dissidents seeking freedom from tyranny were executed and persecuted for years. Began the march towards democracy. Important part of Taiwanese history.
