Introduction

Zhishanyan is archeological site where human remains dating back 2,500 years were excavated. Seven cultural strata dating back 6,000 years have since been unearthed here, providing a rich trove of archeological resources. Visitors can learn more about the prehistory of the Taipei area at the Zhishan Exhibition Hall. There are also several trails at the park for enjoying the natural scenery.

Lots of Critters!

This is a great park. We had a guide to explain things to the kids, who then zoned in and noticed all sorts of details, flowers, bugs, leaves, and seeds. It really helps to open our eyes to what fauna live around us right here in the city!

城市裡的大自然

曾經是不開放的戰區，現在開放給民眾參觀了解文化歷史，並體驗大自然的洗滌，真的是很值得一來。有時會有免費導覽細說每種植物的名稱以及特色，費用很便宜，只需要$50就包含票卷和停車。

六氏先生の眠る場所！

ここは日本の統治が始まった時に、芝山巌学堂という、台湾人が日本語を勉強するための学校が出来た所です。そこに赴任した日本人の先生6人が台湾人に殺されました。みんなここに眠っています。そのうちの一人は吉田松陰の甥っ子です。伊藤博文が建てた慰霊碑があります。

元々軍事情報局の弾薬庫の有った場所を整備して台北市から委託された台北市野鳥學會芝山岩管理處が管理している場所です。有料の割に展示物はちょっとお粗末です。園内に傷ついた野鳥が保護されていて珍しい鳥などもいるのですが暗く見づらい状態です。わざわざ園内に入らなくても芝山岩公園内を散策したほうが良いです。

散歩に良いですよ

文化生態緑園に入った事はないのですが、この園が入ってる芝山岩歩道という場所はトレッキングに良いです。一周するのに30分くらいかかります。台湾の美しい自然が見れて、台北に行く時にはいつもここで散歩してます。ローカルの人も散歩、ウォーキングされてます。夏は暑いですけどね。
