Daan Park

Dann Forest Park is an ecological park with a forest-like environment. Park roads are lined with trees such as camphor, cajuput, ficus and maples. Bushes and flower beds are planted throughout the park to help make the park into a lush, green space. The park is likened to the lungs of Taipei.

    Large, well-maintained, user-friendly park.

This park is over 2 km circumference. The foliage is beautifully maintained. It is crisscrossed with walking paths, and has pavilions for small gatherings or to sit out a rain shower. There's a large playground at the north end, and clean rest rooms throughout. It's a delight to see couples, families, and school groups enjoying this park. There are exercise groups of all kinds for all ages.

Enjoy taking a walk in Daan Park

I think this park is very enjoyable for taking a walk. Very cozy, clean and green with a nice footpath. It's almost like Hyde Park in London. Sometimes We can also see the music performance here.

The Green island in the Taipei city

For Hong Kong people, I really appreciate on this big park in Taipei city. Very convience to go. MRT station. Very big, I spent one hour there but just walked half of the park. I saw the wild animal, birds.... very good place for family, couple or even go alone for a break in our rush life.

    Big, Clean Park

We went here on a weekend, thinking that there would be lots of activities - tai chi, kids break-dancing, maybe a little street theater, etc. - but we really didn't see much of that at all. Lots of families lying out on the grass or having picnics, kids in the playgrounds, and lots of bicyclists. It's clean and relaxing, but you wouldn't be missing much if you didn't go here. Taipei seems to have a park on every block - it's excellent for that! - and we saw some nicer ones, like the one at the Hakka Cultural Center, than this park.

Sometimes it feels good to be a child at heart. Place is clean, just right out of Daan Park Station.
