The 2018 Tour de Taiwan, which began in 1988, is classed as the top event of the UCI Asia Tour, and has UCI 2.1 classification. Many famous riders from the Tour de France, Tour of Italy, and Tour of Spain will be invited to attend the 2018 Tour de Taiwan. There will be 24 teams from all over the world competing in this event.
