Inspired by the luster of the city flower “azalea,” the city began the first Taipei City Azalea Festival in 2017. In accordance with the flower season, the festival aims to expand its scope to mesh with local industries, culture and tourism efforts. Visitors can appreciate beautiful flowers, enjoy concerts and shop at creative markets in Zhongcheng and Daan Districts. It is hoped that this festival will become a regular event that attracts international visitors and represents the city globally.
