Taipei Dragon Boat Festival integrates Taipei’s city image, waterfront development, and various traditional dragon boat festival activities. In addition to the largest scale dragon boat competition in Asia, there are also a variety of peripheral activities, including dragon boat training and dragon boat eye painting. To create an exciting atmosphere, elite teams from each city will be invited to participate in the race, increasing the intensity and diversity of the event. Other traditional activities, such as an egg-balancing contest and rice dumplings making will also be organized. This will help contribute towards a positive atmosphere around the Dragon Boat Festival.
