"City God Birthday Parade" has been inherited since Qing Dynasty and becomes the biggest festivity in Da-Dao Cheng. The parade is so magnificent as the saying goes that "all people can see on City God's birthday is people." The annual Taipei Xia-Hai City God Cultural Festival therefore conducts the ceremony and rituals not only on the 13th day of the 5th lunar month for City God's birthday, but also holds a series of entertainment. Cultural elements from exhibition, markets, performance and workshops are added for visitors to enjoy festivities in relaxing way. To closely feel the religious strength as well as acknowledge Da-Dao Cheng, the festival is either fun in simply attending or a further understanding.
