In order to commemorate the spirit of “teaching all people without discrimination” of Confucius and his profound influence on Chinese culture, Taipei Confucius Temple holds the Confucius ceremony at 6 am on September 28th every year. Taipei Confucius Temple has been researching the memorial service for Confucius for more than 80 years by inheriting ancient rituals, keeping complete three offerings and Yayue, with 37 rituals in total, and fully embodying the essence of Confucianism. After the ceremony, a series of art activities combining the features of historic sites and festivals will be held. People are welcomed to participate in the event and experience the beauty of ancient ritual culture.
