The multicultural accumulation of Taipei City has made it one of the best cities in Asia to host the "Nuit Blanche." The government was invited by the Bureau Francais de Taipei to organize this event for the first time in 2016. In order to show Taipei's artistic energy internationally, Taipei City will connect with the international cities to expand the international cultural capital exchange and increase the city's international visibility through multicultural exhibitions, sharing the energy of the city's artistic culture with citizens.  The 5th Nuit Blanche Taipei will be in Nangang District, mainly around Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center and Nangang station, and it is expected to present at least 20 performances and 18 night art installations.
