Taipei Travel

The Taipei Marathon is one of the most important representative activities of the city's marketing and tourism promotion. In 2019, it has been awarded the IAAF road race bronze label and become the first IAAF certified urban marathon in Taiwan. The race is divided into "Marathon” and "Half Marathon", with 28,000 runners participating including many foreign runners. One of the routes is "Ancient City Tour" leading the runners to pass by four ancient towns, Taipei City Wall-North Gate (Chengenmen), South Gate (Lizhengmen), East Gate (Jingfumen), Small South Gate (Xiaonanmen) to enjoy the history and beauty of Taipei. Local people and foreigners are welcomed to experience the multiculturalism and enthusiasm of Taipei City with their feet.
