In order to commemorate Confucius’ spirit of “teaching all people without discrimination” and his profound influence on Chinese culture, Taipei Confucius Temple holds the Confucius ceremony at 6 am on September 28 every year. Taipei Confucius Temple has been studying the Confucius worshipping rituals over the last 80 years to inherit this ancient ritual and successfully preserved 37 ceremonial processes, including three consecrations and Yayue dance, to fully embody the essence of Confucianism. After the ceremony, a series of art activities featuring historic revitalization and sightseeing festivals will also take place. People are welcome to participate in the event and experience the beauty of ancient ritual culture.
