Event Location：East District commercial area, Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, Xinyi commercial area, Taipei City Hall, Taipei 101, Xinyi Assembly Hall (44 South Village), and National Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall
The 2023 Taiwan Lantern Festival will be held in Taipei, 23 years after the city hosted its last Taiwan Lantern Festival. Venues are accessible by MRT in Xinyi and Daan districts, which are both well-developed commercial areas. The festival will last 19 days, from February 1 through 19, 2023 (trial operation from February 1 to February 4). Incorporated in the event will be the East District commercial area, Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, Xinyi commercial area, Taipei City Hall, Taipei 101, Xinyi Assembly Hall (44 South Village), and National Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall. There will be four major display zones, with one main light display and six sub-lights displays. On the main stage, located next to the Central Display Zone at the National Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall, there will be performing-arts shows from February 5 through 19. A street parade will be held on the streets around the Taipei City Hall in the afternoon of February 5.
