To promote Taipei’s specialty industries, the 2026 Taipei Xmas event brings together resources from the city’s 15 major department store groups to create festive lighting displays and skybridge decorations during the Christmas season. Four to five large-scale Christmas installations will be set up at City Hall’s East Gate Plaza, complemented by vibrant lighting and a series of exhibitions and performances across participating stores. Together, these elements invite residents and visitors to share in the joyful Christmas atmosphere throughout Taipei.
