Taipei Dragon Boat Festival integrates Taipei’s city image, waterfront development, and various traditional dragon boat festival activities. In addition to the largest scale dragon boat competition in Asia, there are a variety of peripheral activities, including dragon boat training and Dragon Boat Eye-opening, for people to take part. To create an exciting atmosphere, elite teams from each city will be invited to participate in the race, increasing the intensity and diversity of event. Other traditional activities, such as an Egg-Balancing Contest and Rice Dumplings Making, will also be organized in order to celebrate and enjoy the atmosphere of dragon boat festival with the general public.
