Taipei Hakka Yimin Festival is the most significant annual events of the Hakka Affairs Commission (HAC)of Taipei City Government and has becomes one of the main Taipei Autumn festivals. A series of activities and performances will be held to present the traditional culture of the Hakka and to pay proper respects to the Yimin spirit, including the Holy Incense Parade, the Carrying-pole Parade, Hakka opera, grand evening shows, worship ceremonies, Hakka Market and many more.
HAC and thousands of the Hakka people are looking forward to this important event and are eager to present the hospitality and cultural diversity of Taipei to locals and international tourists. We will not only welcome people all over Taiwan, but also showcase the creativity and the diverse aspects of Hakka culture, thereby embodying the unique Hakka "style".
