The opening ceremony of the Universiade will be broadcasted simultaneously on Aug. 19 while large-scale sport experience activities will be held nearby; the public will have a chance to get up close to celebrities and engage in fun competitions. A light sculpture show will also be held in front of City Hall for 12 days from Aug. 19-30. Everyone is invited to come and join in the largest sporting event ever held in Taiwan and immerse yourself in an exciting and cheerful atmosphere.
