Chinese Taipei Tennis Association first started organizing the Santaizhi ATP Challenger in 2014 with the prize money of $75,000. The event is the only ATP event in Taipei and also is in one of the strongest Asian swings in the ATP Challenger calendar. In 2017 CTTA is looking to upgrade its most anticipated ATP event in Taipei to prize money of $125,000.
