This competition is Taipei’s highest-ranking international women’s billiards tournament. Since 1998, it has been sponsored by Amway. This year (2017), is its 20th Anniversary. Many world-famous players have been invited to Taiwan to compete, and over the years athletes have broken many world records and sports fans have experienced many moving moments. The 2016 champion was a 16-year-old prodigy from the Philippines, and her success provided encouragement to many young players with potential. The stage is set for another wonderful tournament in 2017.
