Featuring Chinese palace-style architecture, the National Palace Museum is the largest museum in Taiwan and one of the Eight Views of Taiwan. Among its collection of precious historical artifacts and artworks, the Jadeite Cabbage, Meat-shaped Stone, and Duke Mao Tripod (Mao Gong Ding) are the most widely recognized. The Zhishan Garden on the left side of the museum complex is built in Song Dynasty architectural style, featuring exquisite landscapes and classical charm. During summer, visitors can also enjoy the blooming lotus flowers. Within the National Palace Museum complex, there is an international restaurant themed on food arts – the Silks Palace. Visitors can indulge in Chinese cuisine that perfectly blends both traditional and modern flavors while surrounded by the lush mountain scenery.

After visiting the National Palace Museum, you can also stop by the Shilin Official Residence to enjoy the blooming flowers. The Residence features exquisite garden landscapes and hosts various flower exhibitions. These exhibitions include the Flower Festival during Chinese New Year, the Tulip Festival, the Rose Festival, the Begonia Exhibition, the Succulents Exhibition, the Autumn Orchid and Potted Flower Exhibition, the Chrysanthemum Festival, and more, offering different themes for each season.

Another scenic spot worth visiting is the Taipei Performing Arts Center. It is said that its design was inspired by the twin-side hot pot in Taipei's night markets. The Center's appearance resembles a giant silver sphere composed of geometric shapes, and the curtain wall system of the main building's exterior is made of S-wave glass. The interior includes three main theaters: the Grand Theater, the Globe Playhouse, and the Blue Box. Its exceptionally unique design garnered recognition in 2021, being selected by CNN as one of the world's eight most disruptive buildings and named one of the World's 100 Greatest Places by TIME.

After visiting the National Palace Museum, Shilin Official Residence, and the Taipei Performing Arts Center, you can head to the nearby Shilin Night Market and Shilin Cixian Temple in the evening, where you can experience the unique Taiwanese culture of night market while praying for peace and health.
