For a refreshing forest bath, replete with phytoncides to soothe the body and soul, consider a day trip to Maokong with family and friends. Start by taking the Maokong Gondola to the Zhinan Temple Station. Right outside the station is the Green Ray Platform, offering a panoramic view of the City. The sprawling Zhinan Temple complex, nestled amidst towering ancient trees and deep shade, is built along the mountainside, exuding majesty and solemnity. The Chunyang and Lingxiao Halls are connected by a long corridor featuring pavilions, ponds, platforms and lush gardens, offering seasonal flowers and a clear view of Taipei's landscape near or far. Stroll along the gentle Dacheng Hall Trail and Tea Exhibition Center Trail to the Taipei Tea Promotion Center for Tie Guanyin Tea and Baozhong Tea, where visitors will learn about the production, tasting, brewing, and storage of Mucha Tieguanyin tea.

After riding the gondola to the Maokong Station, a short walk leads to the Zhangshu Trail and Zhanghu Trail. These two trails are parallel and close to each other, and their gentle slopes are easy to navigate and suitable for all ages. The former is themed around rustic rural charm, while the latter, the "Melodic Corridor," features musical instruments for visitor interaction.

For an immersive experience in the creative and working space of U-Theatre, visit its Mountain Theatre on Laoquan Mountain, where visitors can engage in a pure and rich exchange with nature and life. After a walk, relax at the Maokong tea plantations, where numerous teahouses offer delicious meals, snacks, and famous local teas like Wenshan Baozhong and Tieguanyin. It's the perfect spot for an afternoon tea break with family and friends.

Visitors can also pay respects to the Guanyin at Zhangshan Temple, located atop a hill with a broad plaza offering a splendid view of Taipei. On the way back, wander through the tea plantation-lined Flying Dragon Trail and National Chengchi University Circular Mountain Trail. Finally, end the day with local delicacies at Jingmei Night Market or Gongguan Shopping District, rounding off a fulfilling day.
