Centered around the 228 Incident Monument in the 228 Peace Park, this route connects nearby human rights landscapes in a micro-travel format. Starting at the deeply impactful Taipei 228 Incident Monument, the tour links to the Monument for Victims of the White Terror in the 1950s. It visits the site of the "Taiwan Nichi Nichi Shinpō" newspaper, whose general manager, Ruan Chao-Ri, and Japanese editor-in-chief, Wu Jin-Lian, were accused of spreading false news and forcibly taken away by the Chief Executive Office of Taiwan Province and remained missing. The former site of "The People's Guide" (now Futai Street Mansion), operated by Song Fei-Ru and Wang Tian-Deng, was shut down by the Taiwan Garrison Command for allegedly inciting rebellion with reactionary and absurd criticisms of the government; the operators were arrested and vanished. The tour also includes the former Taipei South Police Station (now Taipei City Police Department Headquarters), a site of conflict between the public and reconnaissance officers during the 228 Incident, where people demanded the perpetrator's handover but were refused. The site later served as a detention and interrogation center for those arrested. Additionally, the route covers the Monopoly Bureau Taipei Branch (now Chang Hwa Bank Taipei Branch), where the first wave of conflict erupted during a protest march to the Monopoly Bureau.

This itinerary connects various human rights landmarks and landscapes, offering a micro-travel experience that guides people through the physical sites. It narrates Taiwan's struggle for human rights at various levels, highlighting the hard-won nature of freedom and human rights. Those interested in participating in annual guided tours may search for "Taipei 228 Memorial Museum" on Facebook or call (02)2389-7228 for inquiries and event participation.
