If you’re in Taipei with kids, then make sure you add the Taipei Children’s Amusement Park to your itinerary!
Located in Shilin District, the Taipei Children’s Amusement Park is Taiwan’s largest publicly operated amusement park. There are rides, games, and a performance theater operated by one of Taiwan’s premier children-oriented performance troupes.
For youngsters, what could be more exciting than the thrill of bumping your way through traffic, zooming on an airplane, or riding on a pirate ship? For the more adventurous, check out the Drop Tower. Built to resemble a jungle tree house, it travels up and down vertically for a nail-biting free fall experience, that leaves children thrilled and screaming at the top of their lungs. You can enjoy all of this… but of course in a safe and clean environment! As a matter of fact, the park features a total of thirteen rides to enjoy…from a Ferris wheel, to bumper cars, spinning teacups and aircraft, rocking pirate ships, and roller coaster...and much more. For visitors from afar, don’t worry that you’ll need be fumbling for cash while enjoying the rides. Just top-up your EasyCard, and you’ll be good to go. After fun on the rides, you may want to venture across the street to the National Taiwan Science Education Center, which is dedicated to promoting the teaching of applied science for the young and old alike.
