Taipei Children’s Amusement Park (TCAP), National Taiwan Science Education Center (NTSEC), and Taipei Astronomical Museum (TAM) have unveiled the Year of the Rat Joint Passport to 3 Venues from January 11 (Saturday) through February 9 (Sunday).

A total of 8,800 passports will be made available at ticketing windows in all 3 venues at NT$199 each, roughly half the original price! Whether it is enjoying fantastic family time at TCAP, absorbing new knowledge at NTSEC or exploring the astronomical mysteries at the TAM, the passport offers parents a wide range of choices. Passport holders are also entitled to discounts for Maokong Gondola tickets (single journey) as well as a small gift from Taipei Zoo.

The joint passport is valid until February 9, so there is no need to use it up in one day and parents may make arrangements for the winter vacation according to their schedule. The passport was sold out in no time when it was launched last year!

Passport holders may: enter the TCAP once to experience the major amusement rides 5 times (original price NT$180); visit permanent exhibitions on 3-6F and special exhibition on 7F at the NTSEC (must be done on the same day, original price NT$120); view the TAM’s 3D Theater (original price NT$100); purchase a one-way ticket at any Maokong Gondola station for NT$50; and after purchasing a ticket to enter Taipei Zoo, passport holders can obtain an exquisite gift from the visitor center by presenting the passport.

In celebrating the winter vacation, Ifkids Theatre will be staging the Robocar Poli play once again! Little Robocar Poli fans are invited to appreciate the brand new Robocar Poli Happy New Year play, and they can also sing and dance along with Robocar Poli to welcome the New Year!

From now until February 2, citizens may enjoy 10% off at Ifkids Theatre’s civic theatre or exquisite theatre by presenting TCAP’s one-day wrist ticket or joint passport when purchasing the tickets at TCAP (no discount will be available for the exquisite theatre’s minimum fare).

In addition, the Dinosaur Wreaks Havoc in the TCAP exhibition will be held from January 11 to June 14 at the multifunctional exhibition hall on the second floor. Visitors will not only be able to ride the mammoth Tyrannosaurus (10m long and 4m tall), they can also transform into dinosaur mothers to take care of dinosaur babies. Besides the high-tech, ultra-realistic VR set, there are also interactive games and fossil exhibitions, taking dinosaur enthusiasts back to the age of dinosaurs to explore their secrets.
