Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation (TRTC) has joined hands with one of the members of Taiwan’s “Face Mask National Team” suppliers CSD to introduce the MRT 25th Anniversary Face Mask.

Limited to 250,000 pieces, these face masks come in 6 possible colors: brown, red, green, orange, blue, and yellow. To collect your 3-mask bundle, simply obtain your own electronic exchange voucher through the Go! Taipei Metro App starting 10 AM on March 22.

Once you received your e-voucher, choose which station you want to pick up your face mask bundle from. Options include 12 major MRT stations listed below: MRT Nangang Station, MRT Taipei City Hall Station, MRT Ximen Station, MRT Nanjing Fuxing Station, MRT Zhongshan Station, MRT Daan Station, MRT Dingxi Station, MRT Shipai Station, MRT Tamsui Station, MRT Dapingling Station, MRT Luzhou Station, and MRT Banqiao Station.

Face mask exchange will be accepted between 10 AM and 6 PM on March 28. Bring your e-voucher and you can take home a bundle of 3 limited edition face masks (color assortment determined randomly). TRTC staff will be wearing the commemorative face masks on the day to welcome commuters.

The colors of the commemorative face masks are based on the six major lines of Taipei’s MRT, such as the Brown (Wenhu) Line, Red (Tamsui-Xinyi) Line, Green (Songshan-Xindian) Line, Orange (Zhonghe-Xinlu) Line, Blue (Bannan) Line, and Yellow (Circle) Line. The geometric patterns represent the links and connections of the MRT network – an important part of life for local residents.

For more information, please call the TRTC 24-hour service hotline (02-218-12345) or the 1999 Citizens’ Hotline. Details are also available on Metro Taipei company’s Chinese website .
