With the hydrangea fields at Zhuzihu entering bloom season, the city government invites the public to sign up for tours led by professional guides at Yangmingshan’s Zhuzihu region to enjoy these beautiful flowers.

Between May 18 and June 10, those interested can choose between Tuesday tours covering the Dinhu area or Thursday tours traversing the Calla Lily Boulevard. For a fee of NT$500 per head, participants can enjoy fun and fine food (including insurance – each tour requires a minimum of 10 members).
Tour participants will meet up at the parking lot at the entrance to Zhuzihu. They will visit destinations such as the Zhuzihu Ponlai Rice Foundation Seed Field Story House, Zhuzihu East Lake Area, Shuicheliao Trail, and Xiaoxitou Black Forest, as well as enjoy an afternoon tea session surrounded by nature.
The Zhuzihu area is known for its abundant natural resources and features a stereotypical agriculture cluster in the Yangmingshan area. During the Japanese Colonial period, this is one of the few places on the island which successfully cultivated Ponlai Rice. In 2019, it was destined as Taipei City’s third leisure farming area, thanks to the combined effort of Department of economic Development (DOED), Beitou Farmers’ Association, Hutian Community Development Association, and local farmers.
For more information on activities of the Hydrangea Season at Zhuzihu, please call Beitou Farmers’ Association (TEL: 02-2892-4185, ext. 340, 350) or visit the official Chinese website of the event , the Chinese website of DOED , or the agency’s Facebook fan page.
