With learning over the Internet becoming more and more popular during the Level 3 COVID Alert period, the Taipei Astronomical Museum (TAM) will be holding the “Let’ Go! Little Martian Navigator” summer camp online this year! The event is free of charge for participants.

The summer camp program covers aspects such as using SNAP CAMERA to allow parents and kids to chat with astronauts over video conferencing and enjoying clips from the day-to-day life far above the atmosphere.

Through the pull-the-tab book on Mars designed by TAM, participants can learn more about the Red Planet from different perspectives, allowing parents and children to realize their dreams of Mars exploration. Why not take some time off your busy work schedule and accompany kids on these lessons, fulfilling their curiosity about space science?

There will be 2 sessions of “Let’s Go! Little Martian Navigator” summer camp – one on August 14 and another one August 21, lasting from 1:45 PM through 2:50 PM. Each of the sessions will offer 50 openings, with registration starting at 10 PM on August 3 at TAM’s website (see below). Those interested can also call TAM to sign up as well (TEL: 02-2831-4551, ext. 706, Ms. Chen).

To sign up, individuals need to provide their name, email address, google account, and account name. Those who successfully register will receive a color-it-yourself picture file of the Perseverance.
