Qihai Cultural Park to Open to the Public, Tickets on Sale January 9
Located at the northern bank of the Keelung River along Beian Road, the Qihai Cultural Park takes up an area of approximately 3.98 hectares. The home of former President Chiang Ching-kuo and a city-designated historical building, the Qihai Residence is situated within the parameters of the Park.

The operation and maintenance of the Park have been commissioned to the Chinese Christian Faith and Love Foundation and the Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation for International Scholarly Exchange. These organizations invested nearly seven years into the expansion and preparation of the site. In addition to the Qihai Residence, the Park also boasts a display hall, a visitor’s center, and President Chiang Ching-kuo Library. The Qihai Cultural Park is also surrounded by the beautiful natural landscape of Jiantan Mountain and Qihai Lake.

In compliance with the pandemic prevention guidelines, the number of visitors per day is capped at 400 during the first three months. Admissions are divided into the morning session and afternoon session, with each limited to 200 people. Tickets can be purchased up to 30 days in advance (for example, those visiting the website on January 9th can book their trip up through February 8th).

There are two kinds of tickets: one for a guided tool of the residence and one to enter the display hall, with each priced at NT$100. A combo ticket offers access to both areas for NT$180. The restaurant inside the Park is open to visitors with tickets.
