Deputy Mayor Huang Shan-shan reminds the public that traffic control will be implemented in the neighborhood. Those planning on visiting should take public transportation to avoid unnecessary traffic jams. Also, in compliance with pandemic prevention measures, the organizers have set up a designated dining area near Floodgate 3. Visitors can take off their masks here to eat and drink. Those entering the dining zone will have their temperature taken and hands sanitized. The face mask mandate remains in effect at other parts of the venue.

The promotion campaign related to the fireworks show has already kicked-off on July 16. Patrons spending NT$300 or more on purchases at partner stores at Dadaocheng will receive a heart-shaped empty spray can. People who spend over NT$730 in a day can bring their receipt(s) to the Dadaocheng Visitors’ Information Center to exchange for a quill nail polish giftset (only 6 sets given away each day). Those submitting a picture of themselves with either: (1) the special lantern logo at partner stores or (2) the “Love” public art display at Yongle Plaza and upload the photo to their social media account (FB or IG) will have a chance to win prizes ranging from nail polish giftset to Taipei 101 Observatory admission ticket.

A warmup concert will also take place at the Yongle Plaza on July 23. Guests include veteran singers Wu Hao-che and Huang Chen-fu. Some of the partner stores in the neighborhood will also extend their business hours on July 23 and 30 to accommodate revelers.
